Why Now?
Some people may be asking themselves, why now? If you work off the Millennial theory they have known this change was needed, since 2008. In all fairness I was five so I don’t know I was as socially aware- had I been though what an icon!
In 2008, President Barack Obama was elected because he was absolutely beloved by almost everyone. He won twice and if there were no term limits, I’m sure he would have been drafted for this Presidential race. This one action woke a lot of people up, because he won by so much. Many Democrats found their Republican neighbor sitting next to them at his rallies. It blurred our current political lines because of the recession everyone needed to change. It is now 2025 and there is another recession….so there's a need for change.
The question on many (some) people’s minds though is ‘Why 2025?’ and ’how LONG this is going to take?’. First question has a few theoretical answers we’ll dive into first. If you look towards astrology Pluto is the planet of revolutions and liberation. It entered Aquarius on January 20th, no I am not kidding. It will remain in this state until March, which is suspiciously close to spring when protests are outside. The second answer is now we are closer to a blur in the poverty line than ever. I found a simplistic quote summarizing our economic state “A doctor is closer to being homeless than a CEO”, and that random tik toker hit the nail on the head.
The second question of time is actually a bit more firm of an answer. I am predicting something giving in the next 6 months, just due to the speed of growth I see in movements. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) joined Bernie on his podcast on May 15th and spoke on the growth of the movement. She gave her reasoning of this radicalization being, “Just being a working class citizen in America is radicalizing.” (Bernie Podcast). Many of us are seeing that being a single income family isn't feasible for many people.

While some folks understood that this was due to inflation all around, others thought that people weren’t working hard enough. When the Dave Ramsey method didn’t work for the naysayers, everyone became more radicalized.
